OK, so first of all, if my last post seemed a little incomplete, that's because it was. I meant to save it as a draft and accidentally published it. I didn't know until I started to get comments. It's my goal to finish the post and add some of the tons of pictures I took from the rest of the weekend. Feel free to skip that when it shows up in your RSS feeds.
I seem to be busier than usual lately. I'm on a house cleaning/organizing kick. I'm mentally preparing myself to repaint my library and the bookshelves. (Anyone know anything about painting with enamel paint?) Anyway, I've been lurking. I'm comfortable there for now. Give me another week. Jeremy's been gone this week. He'll be gone all next week at eBay Live. Then he's home for a week and a half and we're off to Italy! I'm really excited for that! So, just to maintin my presence, here are a few things I think are cool.
If you want a reason to send and receive some good mail from perfect strangers, look here.
If you covet the Bedford Project Table from Pottery Barn, but don't want to drop the serious cash it takes to get one, look here for an option that's 1/3 the price. Seriously.
By the way, I found it here. She didn't end up buying this one, but did a little IKEA hack for even cheaper! Look down the page to see the butcher block work surface her husband built for her out of IKEA components.
I'm sort of into all things Japanese right now. It's all I can do to prevent myself from spending an entire month's budget at Superbuzzy! Especialy since they have fabric that looks like this, this, or this, all of which would make the cutest tea towels for my kitchen. But I won't. How would we eat? So for now I'm contenting myself with a cute wallpaper for my computer's desktop from here. Just click on "Octogoodies" for some really cute wallpapers.
Or, if you don't think the Japanese kiddie illustrations are your thing, go here for some based on some of American Crafts's fabulous scrapbooking papers.
Well, are there enough links here for you? I hope you have fun following at least some of them.
