No, this is not a picture illustrating how huge my thighs are. This is the typical view of my feet as I sit at my computer. I almost always have my left foot tucked under my right leg. It just feels comfortable to me. It is the best position for my feet as I sit at my desk--something I do a lot.
I have a love-hate relationship with my feet. I've always been grateful to have short toes, and not really long ones. My toes are short and taper down perfectly. They are my mom's feet.
Right now my feet hurt all of the time which is a serious hinderance to physically putting my best foot forward. I think I need to get new shoes to wear to the gym. Whenever I get up from sitting down for too long I can hardly walk. I hobble around like a 90 year old woman. Or like myself when I'm pregnant. I walk on the outside of my foot. All of my shoes are worn out on the outside of the heal. Now I seem to be switching to walking on the outside front of the balls of my feet. It seriously hurts. New shoes. From the Salt Lake Running Company. That will solve everything, I'm sure.
